So after about two months of....

behind the clouds of Seasonal Affective Disorder

and everything stopped looking like this

• The sun came out to shine hard on us New Yorkers,
• I navigated the subway all by my lonesome from Bayridge BK to West Village NY
• I went to the water front and watched the light come off the Hudson
• I bought Tulips (my favorite)
• West 10th isn't quite the shit show anymore
• And I said God Damn I feel alive

Things this new weather makes me want....

someone in my playwriting class wrote the most beautiful thing today.

It was something along the lines of

"we break them. to feel something. we put down roots. we let them grow.

and we rip love out like a weed just to see how deep the hole goes."

And then my professor quoted a play

"You're running through life like an open razor blade."

I think both are beautiful and true.

I've read so many great things so far this semester.

I'm trying to write great things too.
